What are the registration fees for the 2020 conference?
Registration fees range depending on your membership/category status and the date of registration. See the registration page for more information.
Do I need to be a member of AAEI to register?
No, you may register and attend the conference at the non-member registration rate. To learn more about membership, go to the membership section of AAEI’s primary website.
How do I register?
Click on any of the registration links throughout this website to begin the registration process. Be sure to check the registration rates before registering. Don’t forget to log in to the Member center if you are an AAEI member before registering!
How do I ensure I receive the Member Rate for the conference?
You must be a current AAEI Member with an active profile in the AAEI Member Center to receive the discounted conference member rate. If you are an AAEI member and you log in to the Member Center at the beginning of the registration process, your rate will reflect the member discount during the checkout process.
My company is an AAEI member but I don’t have a profile yet. How do I get one?
Only an AAEI staff member or your company’s primary contact can send you the profile invitation under your company’s membership. But it’s worth doing. It can save you time and money later. To request a profile invitation from AAEI, please contact us and include your company’s name and your email address.
Once you receive the profile invitation, you must follow the prompts to submit your completed profile and your AAEI password. A staff member will approve your submission and you will then be free to log in to the Member Center at the beginning of the registration process to ensure you will receive the member rate.
My company’s membership has lapsed. Do I need to renew the membership separately before I register?
If your company’s membership has lapsed, and you would like to renew and receive the member discount registration rate, you must FIRST submit a membership application with payment. After the membership application is confirmed, you may then use your renewed Member Center login register for the conference at the membership rate. The discounted rate will be automatically populated in your registration form during checkout.
I submitted a membership application. Does this also confirm my conference attendance?
No. Membership applications cover MEMBER DUES only. The AAEI Membership application DOES NOT include conference registration fees. You must complete the conference registration fee application separately.
What forms of payment does the onsite registration desk accept?
Acceptable forms of payment include: Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. AAEI also accepts checks.
What is included in my registration?
The conference registration fee includes: access to all live sessions and virtual exhibit hall, government roundtables, networking sessions, registration materials, and presentations.
What are the acceptable methods of payment for my registration?
AAEI accepts all major credit cards including VISA, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express. AAEI also accepts checks.
How can I register online if I need to pay for my conference registration fees by check?
If paying by check, please register online and select “check” as your method of payment. Checks may be made payable to American Association of Exporters & Importers (AAEI). Please send to the following:

What is the policy for transferring or canceling a registration?
Please note that you are responsible for payment if you do not cancel and do not attend. Participant cancellations and substitutions can be made before Monday, August 3, 2020 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. For cancellations, refunds minus a $160 cancellation fee will be issued for cancellation and must be done by Friday, August 7, 2020. For transfers, a $25 transfer fee will be added for transfers received in writing by Monday, August 3, 2020. No refunds will be issued for cancellations after August 7, 2020 and transfers after August 3, 2020.
Are there any sponsorships or exhibit spaces available?

Is the Virtual Exhibit Hall for attendees only?
The Virtual Exhibit Hall is open to the general public as well as attendees during the course of the conference.
How do I access Conference materials?
Conference presentations are only available for download through the Virtual Conference site.
How do I get CLE or CES credits?
Attendees that wish to obtain CLE or CCS/CES credits MUST fill out the feedback survey for each day to be counted for credits. If attendees wish to watch the recordings for CLE or CCS/CES, you must fill out a form with the code word found in each session recording. If you have any questions, please contact Alycia Sohn.
How do I access the live sessions?
Once you’ve registered for the conference, you will receive an email with a link to granting you access to the live sessions. You must click the link to receive your unique conference login credentials to attend the live sessions.
How do I access the recorded sessions?
Recorded sessions will be available after the conference in AAEI’s online store. Attendees will receive a promo code to download the recorded sessions for free. If you did not attend the conference, the recorded sessions will be available for purchase following the end of the conference. Please visit our online store here: AAEI Online Store
